Repórter sem Beiras is a project that takes place in the Brazilian slums — called favela. It deals with the negative perception attributed to these communities. The project raises questions as to how a graphic designer, being a Repórter sem Beiras (Reporter without Boundaries), can help break down this stereotype and communicate a subjective and more positive personal identity.
Jornal de Artigos Não Lidos are a series of visual journals made by Repórter sem Beiras and report about life in Brazilian slums in a more subjective and positive way than the local media does. The stories were distributed as wall journals in the public space of Rio de Janeiro during the summer of 2011.
